Hey SP friends- Although not truly Spey fishing, I wanted to share that I have a new book coming out this fall. CICADA MADNESS is something I have been working on with Stackpole books since late 2021 and it is finally finished! I have chased periodical cicada emergences for decades in the eastern US and annual cicada emergences in key areas around the west. The work includes an anglers view to the science of the insects life cycle, some of the mysteries that surround it and tactics and techniques to find them, fish them and otherwise catch a bit of the MADNESS.
