It’s blown due to heat and melting glaciers which should improve dramatically. The fires could be a problem. Just keep watching.Just when I thought Chicago was bad... let's just all hope 2021 will be less dramatic
Don't mean to hijack this thread but since we are on this topic, do you guys think D will be fishable in two weeks?
I have my flight booked and getting anxious as I keep hearing the river is blown. Say it does clear up by then, would that effect the number of fish entering the system and would it be logical to think that all the high water push the fish that's already there back to Columbia? Skip the Mack's and focus on the mouth if so?
been in that store a bunch, so sad to see, hoping for the best for everyone in the multiple fire zones in the west, cameron
I also learned from the Roseburg newspaper (yesterday's) that it's still unclear about the fate of the Moore's house. I hope we get reports soon.Excellent! I'm happy that my information was wrong . . . on both counts. I still haven't heard from my friend to see if he still has his house. Sorry for my mistake.
Present air quality ranges from very un-healthy to hazardous in this region ... Factors close to 400 at times with 500 being the worst case scenario <> But it may change in the next few days ... Could get worse ... !!! <> Interactive MapsNext week my plan is fishing Dechutes 4 days and 4 nights... timing couldn't be any worse but my flights were booked months ago so I guess I'll just wing it and see. Will be sad to see my all time favorite corner of this planet filled with zombie apocalypse fog rather than that soul lifting pure air I always get mesmerized by evertime I'm there.
