Have you tried the beulah arrowhead 8/9 on the 8152? I think its about the length you were looking for and its really easy to cast a nice tight loop that goes far. My favourite line on that rod right now along with the WA 70 8/9.

Hi Folks,
So I have a near new, new to me, Burky 8152. I have four other Burky's that I can cast in my sleep, a perfect fit.
This rod, 8152, seems very different and tempermental to line weights and casting stroke/speed/ forward stroke etc.
Anyone else have this experience, what lines under 50' heads do you use, weights/grains etc.

Just tried a new Gaelforce 54' 9/10 on my 8152.
Just plain nice!

This past summer I was using the Mackenzie mid spey line on that rod and covering some serious water with a big smile. I was using the 8/9 version and don't remember the grain weight at the moment.
