Hello all, I recently picked up a B&W 14' 7,8,9. I know that it does not handle heads at all. I have had some success with a 9/10 mastery salmon spey dry, but I feel that it is not optimal. I am looking for suggestions as to what may work best.

"BB" if you hit Rio's home page, then

cross referrence to spey lines you'll find Simon G's recommendation for their lines for almost every spey rod built in the world. And, having 'a few' rods my self and several RIO lines, his recommendations appear to be right on.

Beebop,
Which B&W 14' ?
They usually fish 1 weight over. I would fish the 9 on that rod if it were mine. The Lee Wulff lines suit the rods well. IMHO

Thanks guys. The rod is the 14' Powerlite. It does a nice job on short to medium casts, so I intend to use it on smaller streams, but it would be nice to be able to nail a longer cast when it was required.
