Hello,

Its been a while since I've managed a fly. I'm hoping this one gets a grab tomorrow, the last day of March Madness.

Tied on a blue heron small. no sides. wing in parts then pulled forward then brushed back like i saw Jin do once in a post.

I did finally get some bustard, thanks for the gifts, i put them to use in this fly.

Nice material flow from front to back, great contrast and profile is spot on ... it's a winner !!

This is some of Aaron's claret red dyed hackle, just the cheap strung stuff. I'm not familiar with John's dyed stuff, but I love Aaron's work with dyes.

I think this fly shows your abilities more than any other. If people remember your last bouche it was tied on an old mustad limerick that looked awesome, to be able to take the same pattern and make it fit so well on this hook is really something Matt! Your proportions and fishyness is always spot on!
