[Ded Heron]

Hey Gang!
This week has really seen some tasty fluff on iron. The usual players are just killin it!
Another small summer fly, the Black Ranger on a no. 4 hook. It came together pretty o.k. Some of the components were a bit difficult to come by at this size, namely the crests.

Of all the patterns in the Ranger series, the Black Ranger is my favorite !!
This pattern has taken it's share of steelhead for me :smokin:

H , i don't know the maker of these hooks. They were listed just as "antique no.4's". Wish i could find them in a 3/0 .
