I prefer a cork or cork composite swell rather than a rubber button as it doesn’t get hung up in the net if I am wearing a Gye net whilst wading - something I don’t do very often nowadays as it’s a PITA, but occasionally it is necessary so cork swell for me.

Also I don’t really care about the visual aesthetics, but I suppose those who do may wish to coordinate with the colour of their running line?.......

Regards, Tyke.

Metrosexual?

I am not entirely sure I know what metrosexual means but there it is. It sure sounds cool.

I am partial to brown (rather than pink) or black buttons, on my rods. Also like this little number, polished African Blackwood with recessed rubber rings.

I saw a Bruce and Walker recently with a red button and thought it was rather handsome :D
After this post, I can't help but think it will sun bleach it and turn it into a baboons butt :eek:

I'll stick with Meiser crafted composite
