I'm in Riverside, Ca now, away from everything that is of any good flu fishingstick around brother, nice flies
you are form my neck of the woods, I grew up stomping around deep creek, bear creek, and any other water in the SBD mountains.
Love surf perching. I need a 3 wt switch with like 150 gr head, that would be perfect for surf perch. Have you ever thrown Rio scandi full sink s4 with a versaleader 7-9 ips if great in the surf. I have it hooked to a airflo ridge int shooter. Bombs away!fantastic,
really dig the fly to the right
I am in nor cal and do the same off season.
The surf perch is good up my way,
gotta love it
I look forward to seeing your work in the future
have a great day
Thanks Bud!Both are very fine speys: Classy. The ribbing of the orange body is outstanding!
Which hooks did you go with? These are on AJ 2091Welcome - I'm anxiously waiting for similar hooks and coque hackle also. Gonna try that arrangement like you've done here -
