I haven't posted in a while and thought I should get back into the "swing" of things!

I've had a lot of luck recently with a simple hair-wing Black Ghost streamer for trout and smallmouths and wanted to play with other patterns a bit, staying within the theme of colors. I hope you will enjoy!

Thanks to you all for your kind comments. This has been a fun escape from trying to tie a good Dee wing!! I HATE Dee wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm playing with a few more styles and will post them up soon. I've got a Spey in the vice right now and am quite happy with it so far. I'm just loving this color combo.

These are all very, very nice. Although you say you hate dee flies, I can see the influence of you working on dee flies in the streamer and Ally's Shrimp versions. Oh yeah, don't give up on dee flies, the more of them you tie, the easier the get.
