i just buy a lamiglas 12667 and i wonder what is the best line to match with. i am a newbie in spey casting and i am a little disappointed with the diversity.

I'm sure you meant "dismayed," not "disappointed." You'll soon learn that this is part of the fun of two-handed rods! It won't take you long until you're conversant in grain weights, belly lengths, types of casts, and have the "grams to grains" and "meters to feet" formulas memorized.

Just guessing, the Windcutter 7/8/9 would be a good place to start, as would shooting-head style lines of 350+ grains.

If you can, try before you buy! There are several places that will lend you lines.

Try an "old" 5/6 Windcutter, that is one without the color change and tips the scales at about 330-350 grains.
