Im new to tying flys I purchased the pro tubes and pro tube needle to mount into the vice. The problem i run into is upon completion of a tube fly Im having trouble removing the tube from the needle is there a trick to getting it to come off easier I bent one needle already lol.

Two things come to mind. 1) don't jam the tube up the mandrel too far or 2) less tension on your thread wraps, particularly on the back 1/3 of the tube as that's where it meets the 'fat' part of the mandrel.

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys thats exactly what I was doing jamming it on the mandrel to stop it from spinning and tying the thread real tight. I have to be more aware of it next time.
