This video is intended for the single hand guy or gal who is ready to try the two-handed world for the first time, but who has no understanding of Spey lines.

The information being presented is quite basic as it compares a trout line to the main types of Spey lines out there. The video is not intended to be an in depth discussion of the merits of one type of line over another.

I had original produced this video in July 2013 for another purpose, but decided to launch it today on YouTube instead.

If you know any single hand anglers who are considering the Spey side of the sport, refer them to this video as a good place to start.

Excellnt, excellent, excellent.

Great film clip on the 'basics.' May just be my 'Puter but the 'volume' could be better for us 'hard to hear' old folks.

Edit: I've used this 'Puter for God only knows how many years and there is an ear phone plug in slot. Who knew?

Switch to Spey

Thank you Peter. Very well done. I'm looking to make the jump from switch to spey. I found your video to be very informative. Volume was not a problem:)
