Will be using either a Midspey 8/9 or an Ian Gordon 65 ft 9/10 floater along with SA 30 lbs backing (the yellow one which builds only as 20 lb backing). How much would I be able to get onto the reel?

100 meters would be fine but to feel really safe I´m hoping it will take 150 meters.

I have 200 yds of 30# orange dacron on a Danielsson LW8twelve and it holds a 6/7 MidSpey or a Skagit 450 with no problem at all. You should have no problem fitting ample backing on the reel with either of your chosen lines.

I have 200 yards of 50lb. gelspun on a Dannielson LW 8/twelve. A WC 7/8/9 for tips fills the rest of the spool.

I have a Skagit 550 on an 8Twelve spool with 150 yards of 30 lb. dacron. I also have a spool with a 7/8 MS that I loaded with 30 lb. backing by hand from a 1000 yard spool. Not sure exactly how many yards went on for sure, but would feel comfortable saying it was well over 150 yards. I don't think you'd have any problem getting over 100 meters with the lines you've mentioned.

Danielsson LW 8-12 holds Rio Midspey 8/9 plus 170 yards of 30 lb of Cortland regular ( not gelspun) backing.
