Thinking of a new 14fter 9-10 weight for Speycasting.

I seem to be leaning towards the Bruce and Walker Norway.
Now the thing is, I used to fish with B&W powerlites but didn't particuarly like them so I changed to T&T and Loomis. I've briefly tried a Norway Speycaster on the Dee this year and seemed to like it, but only had a few casts.

Question is, how does it compare to the Powerlites? Action, weight etc....

I'll be using it for a variety of fishing......late spring to early Autumn with a selection of line densities and flies.

I am looking for a powerful rod that will handle most situations and cast to 35m with ease using the more traditional Spey style of casting. No overhead/underhand. I'll be using both short and long bellied Spey lines.

If anyone can give a comparison on the Norway v Loop Blueline I'd be pleased to hear it.

I like all B&W rods, I own far too many to list. The Norways are lovely rods and cast well the price is kept down by using cheaper fittings, fugi reel seats etc.

A bit stiffer than the powerlites
