I got my hands on a bag of fur and there is a mask in there that is labled as "fox." It is white with dark gray to black markings around the eyes, muzzle, and forehead. The fur I am most interested is towards the back of the mask and below the ears. It is very soft and full.

I am just not sure what animal this hide is from. The bag is from a furrier in Anchorage. It is just a selection of cuttings that came home from a vacation years ago.

Any help identifying it? I googled it and found a picture of an artic fox, but it is inconclusive. What part of the fur do I want to tie with?

Thanks

sounds like Artic fox, you can cut from the mask for a dubbing or cut the longer "soft & full" parts to make a wing etc.
