TFO two-handers or single handers?
Floating or sunkline presentation?
From beach/jetty or boat?
Stripers, blues, weakfish?
Casting distance required?
Backcast room?

There's a lot to consider here, what do you want to do?

Got it.

You could use a DT for that, it'd be especially handy for popping roll casts into baitballs.
But I think most folks out that way are using WFIs, like Outbounds. Probably much nicer for casting in wind.

A DT line is very good when there is need to cast to strong head wind but for general use a WF is more versatile. It is easy to false cast long line loop with a DT when wind straightens line to back cast and yet more line can shot. So when there is no need to shoot to forward cast the line loop stays narrow and penetrates wind better than WF line which require line shoot. Also accuracy becomes better.
