I'm totally in love with Anderson's ACR 11'7" 3 weight and wondering about what one of its bigger brothers is like, but I can't find any feedback on the 6 weights.

Can anyone provide feedback on the 11'7" or 12"0' 6 weight?

Thanks.

I have on of his 12' 6 wt. spey rods. I believe it is the Explorer as the blank is burgundy in color. I absolutely love this rod.
It is my favorite rod for summer and fall run steelhead in Oregon and northern California. Easy to cast and fish all day.
You will be very happy with this rod. Mike

Gary's 1296 is one of my favorite sticks in his line up! If you like the 1173 you will absolutely love the 1296. These rods are of the same family in regards to flex pattern and feel. I highly recommend the 1296 if your in the market for a 6!

Mr. Anderson's 12' 6" 6wt is a very good summer rod, great feel, forgiving with a very even flex. I can't think of any fisherman who would not enjoy this rod lined to thier liking.

Cheers.
