I don't know if i got a goofy Airflo running line but is the loop to loop loop supposed to be that huge?? it's like a good foot long loop???

Yes it is for use with shooting heads so you can fit the whole coiled head or spool through the loop.Makes it so you do not have to strip a 35' shooting head through the loop to do a loop to loop connection. Pretty handy if you use shooting heads.

Not that I have noticed. It collapses pretty well.

The RIO running line also has a very large loop on the 'working end' for the same reason.
