Anyone had a chance to test these lines out? Are they really much different besides the core and coating?

Thanks!

Delta

A had chance o try out an 8/9 & 9/10 and was turned off by the new taper, hard to beat that old delta taper. It seemed I couldnt get the line to wake up, spent a good part of 3 days and was content but not wow'd by the new design

I'm using the Delta II 7/8 head on a TFO DC 13' 7/8 and really enjoy the line. I have a mint green Delta 8/9 on another rod and this casts with the same ease and tightness of loops. I was testing it with a 12' mono leader and it really shot line well doing single speys on the pond.

The delta II is a new taper, the difference is the front taper, it's longer and finer to be used w/ poly leaders. Whereas the last delta came in a multi tip configuration, and the standard delta had a more aggressive front taper. This info came straight from rajeff himself.
