Ff 7/8

I use that 13' RBM rod often and the the FF 7/8 is a perfect match, IMHO.
For light tip work, (Type 3, 6) the WA 45 7/8 (same design as the FF45, but with a replaceable (looped) floating section, casts very well on that rod.

For the 15' Highlander, the FF45, FF50 or FF70, all work very well, depending on your casting preference. All in the 7/8 weight range.

Thank you very much for your reply.

What kind of flies have you used with those lines and rods? I need a line that's a tad longer then the average shooting head, but still has the "punch" to throw a 5-6" Sunray out there if need be.

I have the FF70 on my 9/11 Highlander and it flies mile. Just a tad too long for my fishing needs so it hasn't been used a lot in real action.

I have two similar Meiser rods: The 13.6 MKS 7/8 and HC 15 6/8 and a few NC lines. My preference is the FF or WA45 for the shorter rod and the 55 or 70 for the 15'er. Both the WA 45 and 55 can cast 1-3/0 marabou flies weighted using a sm-med brass bead without too much trouble.

That sounds good.
