nothing special here, just a few recent ties...
the pics make the hackles look a little heavier than they look in person???
any comments welcome.

I'd say these (especially that Dee!) Are some of the best you've ever posted, some proportions stuff on that bottom guy I'd like to see different but these look very nice

Very nice, are those spikes or breast feathers in the tail of that dee? The spikes just glow in the water.

One tip about hackles on full dress flies: always tie in the hackle by the very tip (as in as close as a quarter inch from the tip where the shortest fibers are)youll get a better taper that way.

Agreed! By far three of your nicest. The Spey is text book pauliedog - and my fave of the set. I don't know - thinking it's the subdued hues in the hackle you have that stand apart. Looks like a RP rump and if so - it is about as large I've ever seen. Hook size please.

thanks boys... the tail on the dee is a gp breast feather (i roll it a bit to get it looking scruffy) and the hackle is large rump feathers that i picked up from Micheal & young. i bought 2 , they were huge! and the spey hook is a bh #1
