fantastic tying on this site lately people.... always inspiring.
I am disappointed that I was too busy and missed out on the Dunt exchange. I love that fly. Perhaps another time.
Anyway, these have been turned out here and there over the last while.
Thought I'd share.... Any tips or suggestions are always appreciated.
Thanks.
A Nighthawk.... I saw this in the Veverka book. I just had to try one...
The wing is goose.

Two Orange Herons... The grey hackle was a bit brownish, but I don't think the fish will mind.

A married wing with goose and turkey. I am trying to get better at these....
I like to tie in a long wispy hackle on all the flies I fish. I guess it just helps my headspace and confidence level when my toes are cold and the fishing is tough.

And a Skagit Mist. I couldn't believe I didn't have any in my box. This is actually my first one, and I just can't wait for the ice to leave the rivers here so I can swing it. The wing is turkey.
