Hi Guys, here are a few ties i have tied up for my coming trip to BC on the 18th Oct, hope you like them.

I have tied a range of these Intruders, in many colors.

Some prawn patterns, Tied on Partridge Bomber hooks size 4.

Hope you like these, any info on colors would be great.

Looking good, Dai. Great to see your ties again!

I like the unique placement of the JC on the first few.

Good luck in BC!

I'd say you're well prepared there Dai.

Where are you headed?

Awesome ties! :smokin: Nice touch with the prawn eyes!
very nice ties, you do not need to go big and gaudy for fall fish though, if the river is in decent shape feel free to use your classic atlantic salmon type flies big heavy stuff is very optional for these fish so unless you love casting them….

for me the smaller blue and black one is a winner…..
no reason why any or all of these wouldn't work, depending on where you are heading. we have had very little in the way of rain but by the time you get out here that may have changed. the vedder is low and clear at the moment so small and bright is the word on the street. aparently bead headed muddlers and doing well in natural to bright colors... good luck and tight lines. :D
good lookin flies there, Dai! good to see your stuff again.
Dai......killer bugs,tied !!
Good luck your trip Dai !!

Hi Scott, I am off to Chilliewack, staying in the coast hotel. thank you for your comment.

And a big thank you to you all, i will also be taking a range of smaller flies.

Thanks again,

Dai.
Great looking flies. When i was up there locals advised me not to fish orange because of all the leaf litter in the rivers. Just thought i would pass that along.

Cheers, Keep that in mind.

I had a quick question on some of the flies you tie. I like the addition of horns on the flies, is there a general rule when to use them?, which flies or style to use them on?

I have watched Davey Mcphail tie smaller trout flies using horns and I really like the addition.

Last what materials are used for horns?
