A Québécois modern classic fly and it’s very nicely dressed. Congrats....May I suggest tying the wing with a dyed blend of yellow, chartreuse, and Highlander green polar bear. An excellent substitute is the long hair from a Samoyed husky dog mane or tail.
These long flowing guard hairs have motion and a transparent sheen which produces a luminescent glow in various light conditions, esp. in green tinted waters. This pattern has a different look and out fishes another favorite of mine, the Green Highlander. This is a popular Gaspe and Restigouche pattern for Atlantic Salmon but it also is effective for Great Lakes and B.C. Steelies and is one of my favorites on the Niagara River.
This is a confidence pattern for me.
It has accounted for a few steelhead here at home and a salar or two on the east coast. It always gets a pull or two.
Your rendition is fabulous and on the money 👍👍
