That is one of my favorite patterns. X2! I suddenly feel the urge for some double mint gum and a pair of teenage snowbunny twins....great tie! Very innovative, creative and wicked awesome.

butterfly

I read somewhere that there was a myth(?) that salmon liked to eat butterflies that led to some of those wild Victorian patterns. Tied as a pair like that, the resemblance to a butterfly is unmistakable. Did you make that hook? Totally cool.

Glad you guys like it....

The title of the thread, Der Schmetterling - means, The Butterfly...

I didnt make the hook, it is from Ronn Lucas.. A Brittania Mirror Image - hard to make, and expensive to boot....Three score and ten wouldnt cover the cost...You guys 'with experience' will know what that means!
