I need 14wt. dt Spey Lines!
Does any body know where I can find some?
Just got new CND Skagit,it needs a Skagit Head system on it!:smokin:

there are a number or options for the Skagit while we wait for SA to bring out the right head. I took tip two our of a 10/11/12 Windcutter and it does quite well on the rod. Several on the board are using heavier systems.

I spent the week end at Kaufmann's Spey Clave. Saw alot of lines, pick 8/9 Midspey, I build a lot of lines, I have to build a Skagit line for it. There some many good lines out there now!

I don't think I've ever heard of a double taper spey line bigger than a 12. But if you're looking for splicing material, Orvis and Sci. Anglers 13 and 14-weight lines appear on eBay frequently, selling for $15-30, depending on the luck of the day's draw.

There are no DT's made in 14 wt. You're going to have to buy a saltwater 14 wt and cut the belly out of it. Why not simply do as rich suggested? or get a RIO Scandanavian head or Loop Adapted?

When I was at Skagit Angler we had all kinds of 14 wt.DT But I only got 10 of them. 2 Years ago now they quite making them.

Hi Brian, What is the brand of head cement that you use to coat your loops with? You have told me a couple of times but I suffer from CRS.
