has anyone used or casted one of these with a airflo delta in 8/9 or any other lines. what lines did you think worked best. thanks scott

13ft 6 8/9 Meiser

I cast a Loop Adapted 9-10 for 13' - 13'6" rods. I used the Intermediate head with a Rio Intermediate tip and a 3" fly with lead eyes and had no problems.

Scott, you'll find the LB Airflo Delta's will

work VERY WELL on Bob's rods. The other one (I've got minimal time with this line; but looking forward to next weekend) is the new Hardy lines. Only 'grass cast' these lines, but was more than a bit impressed.

Back to your original question: I've got all my Meiz. rods lined with Airflo Deltas. Major difference is from 7 up, they're the long bellies, 6 and down the rod appears to prefer the shorter 'standard head.'
