Would like to know before I 'bug' poor Simon for info on 'cut points' for the 20' heads I referred to in another post.

Yes Fred,
The accelerator was the one with the power hinge, I have a multi tip one.

Fred,

As Malcolm already posted, they indeed did produce a multi-tip Accelerator. I liked the Accelerator as an uncut dry line but did not like it at all cut back for sink tip use. The MidSpey is a far better sink tip line.

FT, that's what I'm beginning to ..

agree with. LOVE the Acltr. lines for full dry line work, but scratching my head as to their use for tossing tips.

In the full dry line config. you can cast a brick with this line ... as the 'back end' of a 'tip-tosser .............?'

I have used a 10/11 Accellerator with great success both for dry and tip work. For tips cut it back 17' - just behind the "hinge". With my old 9140-3 I simply attached the tips. However, when I used it on the Sage 10151 I added 10' of level #10 belly then looped on the tip. I also use that exact setup with the CND Salar Specialist - it is an excellent tip line. It will turn over any tip I care to fish.
