Just finished this one, not easy to draw so much ostrich lol The drawing is inspired upon Ed Ward's original intruder design, except that for aesthetic reasons i've chosen to distribute the ostrich herls spun all around the fly instead of using it in bunch.

Here is my take on a spey variant for the beautiful classic. Hope you like it.
The idea for the "recipe" was:
Hook: any bartleet of your preference.
Tip: two turns of silver oval tinsel
Tag: chartreuse silk
Tail: peacock swords
Butt: Black ostrich
Body: Flat silver tinsel (2/3 rear) black...
I hope you like this version; i will draw a spey variant of this fly soon, actually i'm undecided between a feather tip wing on glasso style, a pure spey strip wing or a dee but will make up my mind and draw it soon.
On a previous thread Dai asked me if could i draw his tricolor dee, well, here it is. It wasn't easy, specially that pearl tinsel and the ghost grey hackle, but i think it isn't "that" bad after all.
I'm gonna miss that olive green paper when it runs out lol
It may be one of the most effective, fool proof, easy to tie flies of all times but i do hate it.... nevertheless it is my best friend's favorite fly (how can he.....) so i decided to paint to to give it to him as a present, he is the one responsible for my introduction to fly...
These are not complicated stuff, the first one is a streamer i called just "Terra" and the second one is a variation on the Klinhammer special, i call it the Klinhammer Plus, on it i've added some ghost tail, this has proven to be one of the most successful flies i've ever fished...
I tried to draw this fly in more than one ocasion but never succeded... until today :D
