Any of you have any experience or insight in to a do it yourself Skeena drainage trip. Id like to head out there in the fall of '09 with a buddy. We would be doing it all on foot. How is the access and what rivers? Thanks for any advice you might have.

Search Function Alert!!!

Like myself you are new to the forum and you'll soon find out that many topics you are currently interested in or become interested in future have already been covered in depth. A ton of information can be accessed through searching key words of interest. Mastering the search function kinda opens up the spey vault a bit, It's almost like cheating:hihi:! If your interested in drifts on the Bulkley drop me a PM and I can let you know how our trip went this past fall and what did and didn't work for us at the time, Cheers!!

Respectfully -CamD

Skeena access

Access is grim.
I know the river reasonably well from Hazelton to the mouth.
Big country. Big water. Very poor acess even if you have transportation.
Where do you plan to be?
Terrace? Hazelton?

What month?
You might be better off on the Copper.
But totally afoot?

This is not a good equation for this persuit in this country.
