|Steelhead07||I would be very interested in making a trade of some sort. what are you thinking? Is it a pedestal or a C clamp|

I tie LH on a RH Renzetti Traveler with little problem. The only real issue is with the screw knob orientation as stated above. I just give it the old reach around with my right hand while holding the hook in my left. Not too difficult.
Would you be interested in working out some sort of trade?

|LyNcH||I'm a lefty and my Griffin Montana Mongoose is a righty. I actually like that the tension knob is on the jackside of the jaws. Like emntioned above, I wouldn't let that deter you from buying the vise.|

|fishin jimmy||Went to the Orvis outlet last year in Manchester, VT & picked up 2 Traveler vises - about $100 each. One was right handed, the other left. I kept the RH & sold the other to a friend who's also a RH. It made no difference to him. Also, both happened to have the "cam" lever. In thinking about it - when the vise is used as a rotary unit, those knobs on a LH vise for RH use would be on the vise's backside & out of the way when you spin or rotate it - might be a good thing. In retrospect, I wouldn't let a RH/LH situation keep me from buying & saving $100 - if you find you don't like it, you can always sell & get your money out of it.|

I had to look at mine which is right handed.
The way the rotary arm and the jaws are configured requires a right and left model.
If I spin mine around the screw knob used to tighten the hook in the jaws is facing away from me.
That is an excellent price as they were selling up here for around $200.00.
I would assume they are clearing the knob style out as the newer ones have a cam action jaw.
