Hackle, or Ron Gardiner, is an interesting guy. He's not really a fly guy but pulls it out on his annual salmon trip. I've spent sometime educating him on fly fishing.
He's actually a pretty well known float reel builder here in Ontario.

Definitely not your cup of tea just thought it be interesting for you to see his ultra modern center pin reels.
...maybe he'll see the light of day and switch over to the dark (spey) side.
