    i always look forward to your posts . your flies are a great source of inspiration for me . i love the way you build profile in the fly while striving to "keep it light "
    i fish the catt and other rivers around here for steelhead and i like to go east to get after the stripers . big flies often fool big fish !

    Swinging is such an awesomely fun way to catch steelhead
    Catt is 6 + hrs drive and I go when I can which is never enough!
    I'm on Instagram as mr_squimpish...tons of fly pics
    Basically anything 2 1/2-4" ..when the water gets that nice green color they love white...I'm usually fishing black and purple..lightly weighted

    Hey David! I notice you fish the "cat" pretty often. I just got into Spey fishing after many years of nymph fishing. I love fishing up there.

    Thanks for the info on the hackle. Very hard to get use to. I'm looking to tie some bugs for that fishery. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Your flies are so good I'm jealous and the "twist" you use is great! Do you have a Facebook page? Joseph
