    Hey Jim

Glad to hear it. Those OPST lines are really great for the type of fishing you're going to be doing. I actually got into the first King of the season yesterday. Got a nice male fish that was chrome bright and fiesty. I live about 25 minutes from the Sacramento and Feather River Confluence and am very fortunate to have California's biggest King runs so close by.

Very happy to you're enjoying that rod. If you're ever in the market for anything else, shoot me a message as you know I'm in the business and have lots of stuff laying around or access to it.

Here is a site I found, StripersOnline - Striped bass and striper fishing.
Go there and search Aaron Reel.
There is a good description on page 2, on how to remove and replace the spool.

    Hey, Jim.
You should have the reel, sometime next week, if not earlier.
If you are not familiar with these reels, there is a trick, to removing and replacing the spools.
Hold the reel and back off the drag, completely, don’t worry it will not fall off.
On the front side the chrome button, while compressing the drag, push down on the chrome button and rotate it counterclockwise, you will not feel much, this should allow you to remove the spool, Do not force anything, it takes some practice.
To replace the spool, just the same procedure, line up the pin and notice the slot inside the spool, now wiggle compressing the drag,
push down on the button and try to rotate it clockwise.
It becomes easier with some practice.
    Do Not Force Anything!
Let me know if you have any problems

    Hey, Jim.

Not at all. I love buying full skins, generally about $12-$20. I have a deal worked out with a couple for $3 a pair on wings. eBay is a great source. Just make sure they're from rosters.

If you have any other questions just message me. I don't make a penny off of this, nor do I recommend sellers.

In my opinion, spade hackles one of the nicest hackle tip winging materials available, and the cheapest. But that doesn't make me right.

If you buy a pair, or just want more info, I have a great trick to make large feathers work on smaller flies (pictures encluded).

Sharing what I've learned is fun for me. That's why I'm on Spey Pages.
