    Hello Gene,

I recently bought your 9140 Asquith. I am a push over for these rods. Your price is great. I will refrain from committing on this one until tomorrow evening to give someone else a chance at this terrific stick. If it's still available tomorrow 6 PM PST I will email you and we can do this deal.

Be well and good luck on an earlier sale.

Last time he was on was 4 days ago. He will not receive your email, he has that function turned off.
My impression, he is not a full time Speypager, so I would have my reservations. He has no investment here.

I haven't had any dealings with him, nor any complaints before. I will check into it though.
I say if a seller doesn't respond quickly to my messages, that's a bad sign for me. Means he's not in tune with setting up a transaction, nor is it priority for him.

    Hello Gene
I'm interested in your Salmon 2 spool(dark face) if it's still available. I'm not into PayPal computer stuff. I can send you a check for $50.00 then you cash it.
Then send the spool, I'm good if your good. I'm retired too, and love Dogs, Goldens also. No hurry my email is: dave.hall08@yahoo.com

I think the Beulah Elixir lines are more like a Rage line than they are like the traditional Scandi lines. They have a bigger driver and thus they are more skagit-like. The 400 was my favorite line on that rod. I think Beulah lines are made with their own rods in mind. With all but the heaviest flies, the 400 elixir should work well in the higher part of the water column. To go deep, I liked a nextcast zone 450 on it. That would be the zone F1 line. For pure skagit try the 450 Tonic or an OPST 350 commando head with a 7.5 foot OPST tip in their sinking series.

Gene, sorry to bother you, I just want to pick your brain about that Beulah 12’6 I got from you. You sent me a 400 elixir line with it. I’ve been trying to sort out a scandi line having been using a 425 rio max skagit before. The rod seems to like the 400 scandi. Was this the line you preferred on this rod? I tried a 390 rage but didn’t seem right. I’ll have to give it a better session. Beulah reccomends a 450 skagit and a 375 scandi. Just wondering my preferences seem to be a real close grain difference on scandi to skagit.

There is no detail for explanation on the rating system ... very few members even look at it or acknowledge it. Seems to be another means of rating a thread, sort of the same as "Likes". Usually shows up as the Star Rating System, 1-5 stars. 1 being the worst rating and 5 being the best.

It's really your discretion as a seller. It can be very frustrating when members do not respond promptly.
If you feel you have given enough time and if there is another interested party, I would jump to that member and allow them the sale.
No need to miss out on the sale of an item because a member does not take seriously the responsibility of saying, "I'll take it".
