A little feather wing experiment

Just having some fun at the vise today, and thought I'd share this little nugget. Heaps of mistakes, some of which mysteriously appeared after the head was tied off and the photo was snapped. How does that happen anyway Anyways, hope you like:

The after the picture thing happens to me every time it has something to do with tying by the naked eye and then photographing at 1:1 macro. What looks pretty good to you in vise usually seems to be lacking under bright light and magnification.

Don't let it be a bother to you, you were having fun tying and can make all the needed adjustments on the next fly tied.

Had to chuckle at that: having fun tying? Always! Make the needed adjustments on the next fly? That almost never happens for me, especially since I rarely tie the same fly twice. I end up fixing one thing and screwing up 3 new things... always more to learn I guess.
