This mornings endeavor

No fishing for me for about a month but was in a mood to tie.

Buggered the head on the AGI but I don't think the fish will mind. Sure like those Blue Heron hooks, just wish Dave made a size 5 for summer runs.

The other unnamed beast is just an experimental pattern. Waiting to get some darker orange schlappen and the wing is not proportioned well but once again, I will let the fish decide.

Nice flies. I agree a sz 6 or 7 for summer runs would be great!

Agi?

What is an AGI? Way too many patterns to memorize them all. I really like your palmers.

Looking good. Like the orange color combo, but the green is talking to me. Fun stuff.

Agi

My AGI is my take on taking a pattern, the April's Gem and converting it to a more full dress approach. Since it differs greatly from the original, I just call it an AGI - Aprils Gem Inspired.

It's so very tough to tell from a distance, knowing that the wing set can make or break a pattern. Still, they both speak to success on the river
