Hi Chris

Your first classic style married wing very nice came out for me.
Fishing with this fly your home water and let us know Chris.
Keep on tie and fishing with them.
Thanks for sharing,post Chris.

Jin.

PS,,,,,,,,,,,,,,When you finish the throat(hackle),,, that's point you can start tie wing and side(JC). Just watch out your red or orange thread between the throat, side(JC) and finish the head still left over materials.
Chris,,, Everybody same issues on first time classic style mounting the wing, side, roofing, horns, head.
Chris you don't mind I put it this

Nice tie man. Watch that head to make sure you don't have any straglers. A few more wraps of thread would cover it up. You can start at the eye and wrap backwards building steps which pushes the fibers back covering them. Looks like it would take fish for sure. Good work.

Learning is a beautiful process that allows our life to bloom becuase the day you give up or quit pursuing to learn new things is the day you begin to truley age. You see, age represented by a number accepted by society as an actual indicator of ones age, but I feel it couldnt be further from the acutal age of ones soul for the special ones that continue down the learning pursuit

P.S. Keep up the hard work chris, hopefully I will sleeping on your couch soon enough, thinking of a nice blue cheeked atlantic and the sunrise of a new day

In addition to the excellent tip Jin provided, another thing that will greatly improve the look of your flies is keep all of the wing fibers inside the tail. Your lower ones went past the tail.
