With the help of Rodmdp and Halcyon comments, and Flytyer's posting, I have gotten to the low tented wings. Tying on the web helps alot.

- I understand hackle selection alot more now, which should help select capes in the future (I have limited selection where I live) (so I search when I am on the road).
- http://www.speypages.com/speyclave/showthread.php?t=47177 - Documents my start with Spey Flies, which includes the recipe I am using.
- With respect to my comments earlier on the Black Heron, In Bob Veverka's Book on Page 55, there are 2 pictures of the Black Heron. Stovall's, like mine, is primarily a floss body. But the others I have tracked (including Rodmdg's) is primarily a tinsel body.
- Head needs another coat of varnish. I do not want it any closer the eye than it is.
- Wings are now low and tented. I am trying to keep the ends inline with the hook bend, but clearing missing this.
- Collar was trapped down more than I expected.
- Hackle could be a little thinner.
- Body no concern
