First few howell style intruders... cant wait to get these out and put to use. If anyone has some good colorations that has worked for them, would love the suggestions. Enjoy.
Erik
I have been using 65lb power pro braided line, i have heard people using dacron, n such, and i have seen white braided line used(maybe backing?!), this is what i have laying around, and it loops perfectly in size 2 and a bit tight in 4 gama's (unpainted).
Those look great Erik! I like the muted colors. I have been using 30lb spiderwire which seems to be helping to reduce hook sag. I have tried about 3 other materials for the stinger hook attachment and that seems to work the best so far for me.
Both those colour combos are fantastic...but the top one,the olive with the lighter yellow dubbing loops...on my river :whoa: the steelies would just crush those...very nice tie and colour combo.
I am just now, right in the process of tying some just like that for the spring run...deadly on steel, just deadly!!!....and the smallies will inhale 'em in the summer:hihi:!!
Thanks all, i would like to tie up some white ones, i dont have any white fox dubbing, yet i have some other stuff i could sub in and the white peacock i do have it really really broad, is there anything to do to get them less broad?
I am hoping i get a few fish to crush these out in northern cali and oregon, ONE WEEK TIL I DEPART!!!
I was thinking with the white to tie with that orange color, or just all white... either way, maybe both hahha.
Wild Bill, i also cant wait to swing them in the great lakes area that i fish... Where are you located if ya dont mind me asking WB?

Those look great. You should tie up some of the white variations. With either grizzly died orange or cree wings... tie one on and hold on.... Kevin
