Here's the best of last night's batch of Gold Herons. I'm not quite happy with the spacing on the ribs. I hope a steelie doesn't balk because of it!

As always, any critical feedback would be appreciated. This is how we all improve right?

Lovely, not a thing not to like about that beauty from my perspective. I can only hope that I'll ever get good enough to produce something like that.

I think it looks great,SH. While some prefer a snugger wing to body fit...the water will eventually have it's way with it....and yours will stand proud.

As for the ribbing, I apply as many as makes sense to me. The density of your hackle seems that going with three is the right choice. But only you know the waters you will fish. Lovely job

Well that's just plain hideous. No self-respecting fish would come near it. Fortunately, i frequently cast to fish who have an appalling lack of self-respect, so you should best just sent it to me, along with about 11 of its buddies.

Seriously, Jeff, that is beautiful. Next time i see you, i'll expect some tutoring.
