Good evening gents
I havent been tying much for some months, but am just getting back to doing a little bit, here is one from some i made today,
think the tippet could have been longer, jungle cock is split
It seems to me (but I could be wrong) that on a body dubbed with longish fibers, the fibers should protrude, as they do here in the yellow section, not be held in a loose coil like the green and blue body sections are here. Comments?
Mike it certainly has been a while, hoping i can find more time for tying, good to see you are still keeping busy
Nooksack,i dont really pick the dubbing out any more than it tyes in,the patterns say well picked out,but after they are in the water a while the fibres fluff out, each to there own, thats just me
hitcher, that i have used is SLF easier to find than good seals fur,it is either that or mohair
Stu, Very nice tie, Thanks for sharing. Nice to see you here mate,
