Very nice Mike. I like the super-fine counter rib. I've got some really fine stuff that I occasionally use too. I love using it, but it kinda disappears on most bodies.
Absolutely awesome man!!!! I could look at Dee posts all day long:smokin:
I just picked up some nice white tip last night for this very fly. I like your wing on this one too. That Dee box is shaping up nicely!!!

You know, i really enjoy your dees because how you set the wings, i remember how hard was to me to learn how to make them lay that way and i would never have done it if wasn't for your help and Russ's
NB Rob , I'm glad you picked up on the x-fine wire rib . I didn't want to take away too much from the original pattern , just wanted to add a different sparkle to the body , but still be able to tie a durable fly .
Dwayne , glad you like it Brother . I didn't have any good white tipped turkey at the time and went for the Red Bourbon instead . It has proven itself in this variation , making it an overall "lighter" fly . I usually tie "dark" patterns and needed to add something lighter to my mix .
The box has a long way too go to suit my needs , so you may have to put up with more Dee posts :hihi:
