I had some time to fiddle around with some old craftstore material I had laying around and some other stuff I never used.
As I mainly swing for trout and grayling those are tied on a TMC 7999 size 12.
Not as easy as the bigger hooks and the heads can be better, but overall I am happy how they all turned out. I will certainly give them a go in about a month in Norway.
Body : sparkle braid from craftstore
Hackle : owl (which is amazingly soft)
Wings are from burnt speyhackle, which I do not use since I bought the Whiting speyhackle
Just using normal materials
A bit rich in materials or is the hook too small? :chuckle:
