Similar to the Black King that certainly does work!

Thanks for sharing more of your work. Is that throat Gallina dyed chartreuse or is it a Highlander Green?

Thanks guys. The throat is teal dyed green. The original pattern called out in Trey Comb's Steelhead Fly Fishing has a throat of green saddle hackle. I liked the added look of teal to add some pizzazz, so I went with it. Mike has several other patterns of similar design that I plan to take a crack at. They're fairly simple in construction, provide a nice profile with plenty of movement all with materials that are easy to come by.
