Getting ready to hit the Hudson River for stripers which should be coming in in the next week or 2. Stay safe, go fishing and thanks for looking!

Id be hiding at the south end of the Buttermilk Chanel with that fly waiting to ambush the first run of fish. Nice one. The best part of striper fishing around New York City (other than the fishing is usually great) is that you can make a call and have food and beer delivered to just about any landing.

As we would say here in Maine, "that's a wicked good one!" The first of the striped ones arrived in southern Maine this week, so they are definitely there for the taking in the Hudson now.

Well Mr. GHalliday, you are most definitely a Man With A Plan and I like the way you think! Place I have fished for the past 60+ years is 85 miles north in a tributary into the Hudson.
