Natural Born Killer

A ‘No-body’ platform TD is natural colors. Hidden tungsten bead behind the wings and hackle. Great platform for long tapered leaders and floating heads........that’s my plan this summer anyway!!

I'd certainly eat it.

I'm a Troll myself, and finally able to make more of an effort to swing the UP this year. Any tips for UP waters?

I would give tips if I caught more fish in the UP!! Timing is everything because the runs are generally smaller. When I get the urge to really hook into fish I head to the St Mary’s rapids

Great question, free swing junction connect. It’s how I rig most tubes anyway because of the hook holding power!!

Essentially, it’s a short piece of junction that fits snugly over the hook eye. The junction DOES NOT connect back onto the tube..........in this case, no tube to connect to.

It rides snug to the fly under tension and hook point down (all hooks on their own ride hook down) and when the fish bites it’s truly in ‘free swing’ mode and you have a direct pull on your hook.

I hope that makes sense!! 😎🤣

Hey Jim, ‘free swing junction connect’

If you look at the last post on this thread I did my best to explain it

I think it’s more for the sinkrate. It allows you to use a long leader on a floating head and get some depth
