last light muddler

Hi all, was day dreaming about when we can get back to fishing, and that final half hour in the canyon, wherever it may be, after a long day or three, and the grey light and that last run, pocket, or tailout, you've had your last river beer two hours ago, the jerky and PBJ's are gone and all you can muster is faith because you're beat and nothing has worked and you pull the box out and look for something dark but has some fishy flash, so tied this up, so here's to daydreams on a sunday afternoon, hope you are all well, Cameron

nice

Oh boy! You have a nice pattern here and I agree it's a low light idea. You put it up for all to see so I imagine you feel ok with folks copying it, I will and I'll take it north this fall if things are better.
Really nice

I thought that I was the only one that ate PB&J on the river. I put cheddar slices on mine in the rare chance someone else brings one. (No bananas in my boat though!). That's a great fly. I'd swing that one at last light for sure. All these posts make me hopeful the lock down is over soon.

That one has the mojo all over it! Think I'm going to have to copy up a few of those.

But you didnít mention the 4:20 ritual. Couple toots on the fish whistle always improves odds. Sweet tie Cameron. Cheers

Shoot, I'd tie that on at the put in and leave it on until the above scenario and be happy. Although it would be pretty tough to sneak that one through the canyon without it getting munched.

Thanks for the visual, much needed in these times.

That one's sure to skate up a fish. I'm a big fan of the peacock wing, it'll glow in that last light scenario. Great tie per usual Cameron!

Pitter patter, let's get at'er
