Doctor Forbes

A version I stumbled across while surfing YouTube with nothing else better to do. I’m off to sweep the roof and dust the lightbulbs now. Thanks for looking as always folks. Mike

Very nice profile on this, excellent tying Mike, looks great
I have never seen this pattern with a fur body, always silk. I tie mine with silk for the extra sink factor. It's a producing pattern here in my corner of the GL's. It even accounted for a rod jolting pull on an east coast salmon river one fall.

Mike

Have you Swung a Spey Fly today ??

This was my inspiration Mike.

I have taken screen shots of every one these flies. Some amazing Spey and Dee flies. You will see some new and rather unique patterns and dressings as well. Unlike any I've seen in the pattern pages. And of course amazing tying skills.

Would you fish Davie's version of the Dr. Corbet Mikey?

I do believe I'll tie that with the seal (or whatever) body and fish it on the Miramichi this fall.....if they ever open the $&[email protected]$Q&*())^% border again!
