Jungle Heron

Gave this classic spey pattern a try for the first time. All was good until the wing. Trying to stack multiple JC nails was not easy. I stopped at two sets...the pattern called for three.

Love the fly...and you're right about multiple JC nails...a pain in the butt.

I still enjoy the profile of that fly, even without the 3 set of nails. 2 sets of nails will probably swim better anyway.
